Ever have someone try to run you off the road?

Well today I was leaving school and some crazy guy in a tinted out benz tried to run me into oncoming traffic! It was fucking crazy! He/she just started like easing over towards my car and wouldn't stop and I ended up in the lane for oncoming traffic and cars were coming so I floored it and actually got up to 70 and eluded everybody and I am thankful I didn't die and no one else did. This is the worst part... There was a bend right after this and a cop was chilling there in an unmarked car and I had a couple of car lengths between me and the guy who is trying to kill me lol and he pulls me over because i was doing 70 in a 35! FUCK what the hell I am dead I can NOT afford this ticket! The cop seemed like he believed me but still gave me a fucking ticket, he prob needed to make his quota for the month, really pissed me off but he just said let the judge know the story and see what he says. I am praying to god that he is in a good mood and believes me and lets me off. I basically saved my life and who knows how many others. I can not stop worrying about it though... shit...

Edit: Oh and the cop also said I should of slowed down (which I couldnt cause the car behind was up my ass) and then pulled over and then called 911. What would have that done anyway? Yeah I could of done that in the 3 seconds I had till I went head on with another car

I don't even know really it didnt say but I saw on the back going 20-25 mph over the speed limit is a $200 ticket, there goes my DSM AFC

Edit: With all of the extra fees and stuff NJ does the ticket could be around $600-700

Why didn't you just hit the brakes....who cares if someone is behind you they woulda slowed down also.

I had a similar situation minus the ticket. Some benz kept trying to cut me off, so I just accelerated past him. Probably not the wisest choice. So later up the road he gets up next to me and pushes me into the lane going the opposite direction. I barely avoided hitting a car going the opposite direction.

No sympathy here. When someone does that...you hit the brakes. You can stop much faster than you can accelerate...and you won't get a ticket.

I was in my del sol a few years back. Driving in the fast lane and a car tries to get over. We were coming up on a overpass and at the base it kinda tapers within about four feet of the freeway. So I didn't have any room to the left. I had to slow down or it would have been ugly. The person didn't mean anything by it ( I think ). Pretty sure they didn't see me.

ya no offense man, i've been in the same situation, and it sucks, but you should have hit the brakes, judgement in those situations is everything, and accelerating that fast in the oncomming traffics lane, in a 35mph zone, was not the right judgement call, you do kinda deserve the ticket, even if you were instigated... good luck with it all though, it is really shitty when people do stuff like that, whether on purpose or because they just shouldn't be on the road...

Maybe I forgot to include the part that the guy or whatever seemed like he was matching my speed, he tried to stay right at my side so I just decided to go for it... geeze I think if anyone was in my situation they would of done what I did or probably got into a head on collision. It was either a sick joke or he was trying to kill me, you never know with all this gang initation crap people talk about around here...
