Mass Air Flow Sensor???

CEL code P0170
Fuel Trim Malfunction

I have gotten this code before, but with the O2 sensor code, I replaced them, and now just get the P0170. When the CEL is on, the car runs fine. As soon as I cleared the code I have a rough idle, and when stopped, it's really low, almost stalls out. I have read that it may be the Mass Airflow Sensor??? Is that located on the intake that comes from the air filter? Is there something I can see to know it's bad? I am just seeing if there is something I can do before resorting to taking it to a shop. First of it's called the Vector air flow meter of VAFM for short and yes it is on the intake an bolts to the airbox.


I highly doubt it is your VAFM. try searching for vaccume leeks and if that turns up nothing then try replacing the trottle position sensor, it's located on the bottom of the throttle body.
