Does anyone know how to stop the doors from chiming on a 2000 Mazda Protege ? I tried removing all the fuses but that didn't work. Anyone else know how to do it. ?
Much tks in advance.

I say cut the frickin wires. If that don't work, then splice them together. That should put a stop to it. If you want to do a less mickey-mouse fix, I'm wondering if the door chime kill How-to will work. Try it out. It might do the trick.

There's a how to on here somewhere, only it's for the 2001+ Proteges. You could try it anyway, since it only involves pulling out the gauge cluster and disconnecting a wire.

I just snipped one wire. Now I can clean and detail my interior in peace :)
