Right now there is a brand new Racing Beat cat-back exhaust system listed on eBay for $455 with free shipping. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Raci...367596 8QQrdZ1. They have systems available for both the sedans and P5s. I bought my system from this vendor and they are great to deal with, all the things you want from eBay. It's a great system, quiet at idle with a great note under acceleration. Looks sharp too.

Looking for a aggressive tone or more mellow? I have had an HKS axleback and now a Megan racing catback. If I had to do it again I would just buy the megan muffler (?) from ebay and have custom piping done. The exhaust hits the heatshields etc, sits off center compared to the cutout... should be cheaper than buying a full cat back too

Infexion,
Do you have an MSP or non-turbo? You have an MSP pictured, but have "03 protege" listed???

If you have an MSP, doing a cutout like Arch said is badass. I've been in his car and it's a little loud, but not "ricey" loud like a honda coffee-can muffler. Sounds badass, cheap, and very effective. The cut-out can also be closed for long trips or if you just need it to be quiet. You won't throw a CEL either.

If you have an NA protege, then don't do a cut-out. Freeing it up too much and not having enough backpressure will hinder an NA engine. Just go w/ a free flowing 2.5". Probably do a cat-back & 4-2-1 headers.

dude........inflexion is garret from the north side of town, the guy with the white protege. he went with us when we went to track 21. he's n/a. so i was being sarcastic about running open pipe. that would sound like totall ass. i would suggest magnaflow. thats what i wanted to do on my mp3.

Whatup Garrett. Damn I feel like an ass.

Header back, cat-delete, 2.5" for 150 is the shit. I'd jump on that faster than James's mom jumps on my cock.

I have the magnaflow catback on my car, and let me warn you, without a cat, it's VERY loud. I had mine on for a bout a month before I bought a high flow cat for it. But now I am completely satisfied with it. I love the sound.
