Hi everybody. I just got a '99 Protege for my wife. We love the car. Its in very good condition, w/73k miles, and I think we got a good deal on it.
I'm not too much into mechanics, and there is something that is not normal in the car: While stopped in D, the car almost stalls and the revs go up and down unconsistently. While in P, the engine runs smooth. I just tuned-up the car and the problem persists. What can be causing this problem? Any help? Is this common among Proteges? Thanks in advance.
