There is the vacuum actuator under the hood, by the passenger strut tower. The controls on the steering wheel and there is a small control box under the passenger side kick panel. I've got everything but the control box laying around if anyone wants to buy it.

Everything is really easy to remove with the hardest part being the controls on the steering wheel. The only thing you will have to cap off is the vacuum feed for the actuator. It's just a litle nipple on the intake mani and can be easily capped. It's very easy to remove the cable from the gas pedal assembly and it just pops out of the firewall. Everything else just unbolts.

I sold it to another member. It's not very big (about the size of a pack of cigarettes) so I don't think a junkyard will rape you on the price.

Sorry to go off topic, but how much do you think the whole cruise control setup weighs? Just asking, sorry to go off topic.

well, I just bought a set of Nokian RSI winter tires so I might need some extra $$. I'll take a look sometime this week and see if I feel like removing it and then sell it. I dont know what a good price is so I'm open to suggestion and I'll also do some research.

The only reason I can think of to remove it is for weight savings. Thats why i asked what the setup weighs. Every little bit of weight off the car helps.

I'm gonna remove it cause I can use the extra $$ and plus I hardly use it. But the main reason is I want the CP Racing(or the likes) strut tower brace.

Vindication, can you do me a favor? When you remove all of the cruise control setup can you weigh it. I just would like to know because I never once used my cruise control and if it weighs 20 or more pounds then I'm going to take it out if its easy enough.

I love my cruise. For those who do a lot of highway driving, one of teh best ways to get great gas mileage.
