Radio stopped working

My wife noticed yesterday that if she listened to a CD in the 5, and then tried to switch to AM/FM, the radio would stop working. Like, the display would come up, but no music or anything. You turn the car off, turn it back on (with it in FM/AM by default), it works. Switch to CD and back, nothing. This is my first Mazda, and I am starting to get a little worried.

Don't know what to tell you. I guess, just take it back to the dealer.

I remember when I was researching the 6 it seemed alot of people were having proplems with the radio, but IIRC those problems were with the 6 disc changer getting jammed.

Definitely take it back to the dealership and have their service dept look at it - it should be under warranty.

It started working again. Dunno what's up....but I still love our 5.
