Yeah, and it actually got rid of what minimal clunk I did have comming from back there. Not to mention I can actually feel that 22mm rear bar now, seems like before all the benifits from the stiffer bar just got lost in the flimsy stock endlinks. You can even see in that pic where my rear bar would make contact with the lateral link sometimes as well. I have them adjusted as small as possible and I have more clearance now.

I'm not sure why so many people have been trying to use a lubricant to act as a penetrating agent.
WD-40 is great at lubricating and cleaning, but, you gotta use PB Blaster or similair to get the rusty bolts free.

The can of WD40 says it can loosen rusted bolts. It's all I had and I wanted to try it first cause I am a cheap ass and didn't want to buy a $3 can of something else. Actually the cost would double because of the gas to get there.
Speaking of which I've been driving much slower and improved my mileage by at least 2 mpg. (about a $4 savings now per tank) However, to compensate, I don't slow down for onramps.(drive)(drive)

*sigh* do what you want then. We can only attempt to steer you in a direction that will be successful. I've used WD-40, I've used PB blaster and I've used Liquid Wrench. PB and LW are head, shoulders and nutsack above WD-40 for getting bolts loose.

did I read that right? 1600 miles in a day, 800 of which were without a hood? That's going 80 mph for 20 hours...and you drove hoodless?! wtf? (freak)
and gas $100? That's less than two tankfuls given the current gas prices, so that would mean you averaged about 900 miles per tank?
explain yourself...
I dont know how high gas prices where you are but I average 45 bucks for a full tank of gas so its a little over 2 tanks for me! Yes that was filling up yesterday so its not like thats what i cost for over a week ago. I do agree that sounds a little inflated or under inflated depening on how you look at it.

I went out and purchased some PB blaster and sprayed the crap out of it. After at least 5 soakings, and about an hour of cranking on it, it finally budged. It was easy after that. Now look at her. She is all happy and ready to go play in the rain. (you can almost see a smile) (cabpatch) (blackp5)

It's the one for the intake right? Or the too lean one? You should post up a thread and get some opinions on what it might be.
Whats the cel?
The last time i checked it was for the 2nd o2 sensor. i did the o2 fouler and disconnected the batt. a lil over 200 miles the dang thing came back on again. i tried to get the guy to check it out at the auto parts store but he was being a douche bag. so i left disconnected again and now its on again. i am about to buy one of this gadgets and delete these things myself every time it it comes on. its like $177.

Well let's see, the garage door has been phooking with us lately where occasionally you have to open/close it 15 times to get it to open all the way with the remotes. Nope not battery issue. So yesterday while running the gaunlet of wife's suv on one side, bush on other side & kayaks backing in, the damn door went up enough to be out of site in the side mirrors but not enough for car to clear it. OH NO! Yes hit the door with the back of the car BUT....it was just right so the middle of the back window hit it, knocked one wheel out of the track, bent the wheel holder bracket, left a touch of garage door paint on the back edge of the wing up top & PISSED ME OFF BIGTIME until.........I rubbed the paint off completely with my finger & used razor blade to get it off the glass, put wheel back in track & bent bracket/door back straight. All miraculously OK. Whew! woulda been fucked up ending to bullshit day. BEHOLD THE ANTICURSE!!!!!!..................P5___1 , gayraj door__0,nada, zip, zero !

Hot! I rode in a coworker's TT LS2 GTO a few weeks ago. Amazing is all I can say about that. The kit is supposed to put out 550 WHP on an LS1, so that should be maybe 600 WHP on the LS2. Losing traction through 3rd gear FTW.

Goodmorning all!!
Starting the day telling you about my night
Soldered all power wires together for gauges, as well as all grounds, so i just connect 2 wires
Installed both sensors in the sammich plate for oil temp and pressure and combined their grounds as well.
Ran wires from sensors to gauges
Problems:
Oil pressure pings straight over to max as if it is not grounded but it is
Oil temp goes immediately to 240 and to 300 as the car warms. If I hit the gas, it drops back to 240
Any advice or help? Could I have just crossed the wires using the temp as the oil pressure now? It doesn't climb to 240, it goes straight there on startup
And, I didn't get the header swapped cause I can't find my bolts for the springs bolts or the brace for the precat. So, i gotta go to the hardware store to pickem up

i guess its time to change... the car has got a lil over 60000 on it now. and supposedly need to be changed between 60 and 100k. of course mine couldnt wait the 100k
no porblem man... i didnt know you where to replace your 02 sensors in milage incaments. Here my stock ones have over 166k on them! One needs replaced because it throws codes every now and then like it has a short or something.

No - but I had coilovers: KSports. There wasn't an adjustment that I didn't play with ... never fixed the fact that they were too bouncy. I yanked 'em and sold 'em.

I took the time to install and custom fit an AEM SRI.
Hacking off the bracket was a pain, as I grimed/smudged and scratched up the piping, but I feel it was worth the time and effort.
Thanks to L8R for the help and tips!

Yea I know but I had the wheels first and then started autoxing. Im not nearly competitive anyways thanks to my stock suspension and since I don't plan on keeping the car that much longer don't want to start dumping money into a build although it gets more and more tempting every time I get on course.

haha yeah that's what I figured. If you're stock still, it may not be a bad idea to pick up a set of stockers for peanuts and throw a set of solid street tires on them to start learning on (hankooks z212, potenza re01r, azenis, etc) and use them as your 'race' tires.
And the temptation only grows. See: fully prepped STS2 miata lol

I'm stuck in STS cause I replaced my front seats and have a "shorty" header. I thought about using my stock rims for a while but they have my winter allseasons already on em so it didn't make sense to buy 2 sets of tires. I had been running BFG's for a good while, 3 years and ~1.5 seasons but just got a new set of Dunlop star specs and damn what a difference just have to keep em cool.
