That's a good call. With all the traction problems the higher HP guys are having a taller 1st is definitely needed. I like the 125 MPH max in 4th to, just because I never boost in 5th I max out at 110 MPH currently.

Also, might be a dumb question, or maybe even the wrong place to ask, but how bad would the ride be if I just put in Espilar's and waited for the Tokico's? Or, should I wait and do em all at the same time? I don't have the tools to install myself, so, it'd save me $150 if I only did one install. I bought some oil, an oil filter and an extending filler neck with hopes that I would be changing the oil and transmission fluid. However, on my way back to the apt I noticed I was having throttle issues again. It's the damn 626 IM - I don't know why my throttle cable is so tight. Everything is lined up correctly and the only thing I know isn't right is that the mounting clip is backwards (the little white clip-thing is facing the engine and not the firewall like it was before) but I'm not seeing how that would cause a problem...

The worst part seemed to be getting the brackets unbolted from the stock bar once everything else was off, and then taking a prybar to the subframe to get the old bar out and the new one back in. Moxnix did over 90% of the work.

Basically im raising the hatch flooring roughly 2 inches (so the floor will actually be flush with the rear seats folded) hiding the Amps and resessing the sub into the spare wheel well cutting out a rectangle over the amps and a circle over the sub and putting black steel grating in the cut areas. then installing Red cathode lights on either side of the sub and amps to glow red through the grating. should look pretty slick

Yah they just pull off the plugs and coil packs. I am guessing it is not the wires though but one of the two coilpacks are bad. Last time I had misfiring it was because of a coilpack. Good luck

The mechanic thinks something worked it's way into the cylinder and the piston used whatever it was to beat the crap out of that plug. He put in a new plug and it ran great, until I would go fill up the gas tank, then it'd sputter and die for about 5-10 minutes but would be fine after that.
Filled up with gas lastnight, started, sputtered, cell came on, and was running on 3 cylinders.

So today, MOD #1 happened :) i came home from the cyclones game (ECHL Hockey 10 AM game thanks to education in hockey day) and what's this at my door? my K&N Typhoon CAI!!! so of course I head down to the garage and get to work. Of course it wouldnt be a first mod to a new car if you didnt break something, Theres a plastic valve thing with a sensor that has two rubber hoses coming out of it, well i was supposed to replace the stock F bracket with K&N's L bracket and well, while trying to loosen the bolt, i hear CRACK and i broke one of the pastic runners, but lucky enough i pulled the broken end of the tube out of the hose and just slid the hose over the remaining plastic housing (no CEL yet, but want to find a replacement)
I didn't have my jack with me so I only did the SRI portion of the CAI, when I get my jack later today from my parents house im going to finish the job, but my god, theres so much better throttle response I love it, and the red looks awesome in the Engine bay
However, K&N didnt do a very good job making everything fit together well, I didnt even use the Z bracket to support the MAS :/ oh well.
I know i know, "worthless without pics" i promise ill get pics up one of these days

Find out hopefully today. Cause we can hear something bouncing around in the engine. That can't be good

That's all there is to it...just pop off the cover and it exposes the nut holding it on. Once you have everything installed the wiper will no longer be able to be lifted from the glass (propped up, say for cleaning the glass) unless you modify the new 'cap' also.
Theres a good how to thread on the matter. It's a cool mod!

Bah, that's what I was afraid of. Not really too big a deal but I can't see the design process behind that. Oh well, it certainly looks a hell of a lot better. Well if things go well this weekend I will be changing oil and transmission fluid as well as installing my Progress rear swaybar and the Mazda6 rear wiper arm. Had about an inch of ice completely covering the entire front end of the car. I do have to say, as I have before. Blizzaks rule ! Also, I bought some new winter tires on clearance for next winter since my winter tires were getting low on tread. Paid $280 shipped for 4 Bridgestone Blizzak Revo 1s! :D

That snow was pretty damn deep behind me too. I had to get thru the drift where the plow truck had tried to bury me in. But, again the Blizzak's showed me exactly why I bought them in the first place. Plowed thru like the snow wasn't even there.

If I remember correctly I only ran 1 Winter on my stock Dunflops. So that would put this as my 4th Winter on em. They still work just fine for me. I'm sure not as good as when they were new but I was pleasantly surprised at how much tread was on 2 of them. 2 are getting worn but I just threw them on the back. I will at least replace 2 for next Winter. And, I will never go another Winter on any car without a set of dedicated Winter tires. I have the WS-50's and I couldn't be happier. Like I posted before, that G6 that I drove back form Chicago yesterday was all over the road and my P5 tracked like a snowmobile on the way to work this morning and the roads still sucked.

He hasn't gotten to check the cylinder walls as the company only wanted him to pull the intake manifold. But, when he told them he heard a ticking/knocking, they told him to put the motor back together ASAP and they'll send an adjuster out. So, I won't hear anything now till Monday afternoon at the soonest.
