View Full Version : Anybody have a Callaway elbow?
I remember some people were offering their Callaway elbows a while ago... Does anybody still have one I could take of his hands?

I may still have mine. I'll look but cant promise anything. I took mine off and put a piece of flex intake tubing in it's place so it should be drawing much cooler air. I would suggest something like that before putting the Callaway pipe back on but, ethier way i'll go look for it.
Where did you route it to? I poked around but it didn't look like there was any room for something beneficial. And was there any actual benefit?

I have it coming straight out of the box and going down to the frame. There's a big hole down there that you should be able to see the ground from and that is where the other end of the tubing is. The benefit is that you will get much cooler air than just the Callaway pipe which will result in better performance. I'm still looking for the pipe by the way.
I see. I was looking for some flex tubing last week, actually, for this purpose, but I couldn't find anything concrete online nor at Autozone. Is there any specific name that it commonly goes by or am I looking in the wrong places (I'm thinking Lowes might have it, I'm gonna go check there over the weekend).

I found some at Pepboys in the "Perfromance" section. They come in different colors. I think it was actually called "flexible intake tubing". I cant find a pic of it but it should be at a local autoparts place. Like I said in the "Performance" section. Also be careful, if it rains a lot in your area you may not want to let it hang so low.
Thanks. Yeah, I thought about that, too, the guard IS very low... I was also trying to think of some way of maybe routing the tube to the left fog light hole, but that didn't seem possible. I guess another way would be to move the coolant bottle away and route the tubing to the wheel well.

I've looked for that damn pipe for a week now and it's officially MIA. Sorry. I think my female threw it away. (dunno)
