Hello, I've been reading lot here lately

I've been reading alot of posts to see what i can do with my car since it's about to lose it's waranty. I was just thinking of modestly modifying the car.

I have a 2001 Emerald Green Mica Protege 2.0LX (ATX)

I am considering these mods:
1) Obx Header
2) Polished AEM Short Ram Intake
3) Custom pipping and some performance muffler that doesnt sound like turd (recomendations)
4) GT Spec strut bar
5) Nology ignition wires
6) Eibach Pro Kit springs

This doesnt seem too extensive of a list but i would probably be satisfied with the results. I was considering getting the MP3 ECU, but with all that reading, I realized that It would just F*ck it all up.(Not compatible with ATX)


Other more aesthetic and comfort based things:
1) DYNA mat
2) Custom seat covers
3) Sport 20 Familia Badge (thumb)
4) Fiberglass or CF Grill
5) DGM CF hood with air ram duct?

Currently I just have a Pioneer MP3 head unit and an all pioneer mid/hi set with an Orion 12" sub in a custom bottom firing box powered by an orion amp.

I want to make my car look good =)

There's something about protege's and my family.

My first car was a white 92 1.8
My sister's first car was a champagne 97 1.5 =(
My dad's first car in America was a green 91 1.8
and Now that my brother is learning how to drive he's getting a Grey 93 1.8

I loved my old white car, called it Sylvie, now my 2001 is called Jasmine

Lovely. Welcome to the board. As far as nology spark plug wires, they won't really help you as far as performance goes. It actually might hurt your car. Either stock or Magnecor is fine.

woohoo another emerald green!! welcome to the boards...sounds like u got a good plan there...also props on the orions subs, i used to have 2 10's and they sounded great...def post some pics when u get a chance
