Replaced Wifey's brakes over the weekend, also rotated the tires.

Question is, before when she went to slow down you can hear something almost founds like something rubbing when she slows down.

I replaced the pads because they were low, but you can still hear it as well as feel it on the passenger side.

My friend thinks its a tire.

Is there anything I can check?

I also noticed theres a hole in the boot where the brake caliper squeezes in. I doubt this is a problem, I realize it holds grease but it shouldn't affect anything since it's DRY Greese correct?

Help?

Bad rotor?

Thought about that also but those things just don't go "bad" do they?

I considered taking it to Midas or some place that gives free estimates?
