under what circumstances should air come back out of the air filter on an intake, whether it being SRI or CAI (tried both) ? I was messing around with my blow off valve (running dual setup, bpv at intake, bov on tb stock pipe), and i noticed a lot of air was coming back out of the intake, as well as out of the bov, but if rpm isnt high enough, air only comes out through the air filter on the intake, is that normal? Also, i have the MAF at the end of my AEM SRI (converted from CAI for the winter), would i benefit from having it anywhere else without upgrading to hard pipes yet? I also noticed that the throttle response mightve gotten worse ever since i replaced the stock airbox (while still having a dual bpv bov setup), could that be because of the intake, or something else? Thanks. Sorry for being all over the place

throttle response may have gotten worse because your sucking in more hot air with the short ram. Air will probably come through the turbo but thats why you have a BOV to get rid of most of it. As far as the MAF you have to get hard pipes in order to move it, unless you figure out a way to connect it to the stock plastic ones.

Well i had an issue with the throttle response even when i had the intake as a cai
