With that said, a fire generally starts when a combustible object gets too hot, or comes in contact with a spark.;)

It was oil that leaked onto the turbo manifold, if I remember correctly.

i remember reading in one of the vortex threads that it's cause by the turbo being so close to the firewall, that sometimes it will get to an elevated temperature. I remember them saying that if you dont have any type of heat coat wrapping, that you run into a risk.
