got a question sometimes when i am driving my brake light comes on but my ebrake is all the way down, i noticed that my brakes have begun squeeking is this why the light comes on or is it something else?

the same thing just happened to me today. although i didnt notice any squeeking. took it to the dealer. will get it back tomoro.

well its a closed system, so ideally, its that your pistons are pushed further out and you need to change your pads soon. or you can add fluid.

if i was overdue on brakes (im assuming pads) wouldnt i hear something or feel any change in the brake pedal?

brake fluid is definitely low

I started a thread just like this about...a month ago. very simple solution. the levels may read OK but just fill it up.

you might not.
I have seen people go so long without replacing brakes that they literaly have only half a rotor and its metal on metal contact (no pad material). most of these people claim that "the brakes JUST started making noise"
