how the hell do i take out the starter???

whats up all??? ok ive got another problem( yayyyy )... my starter went..... what i need to know is how the hell do i get to it?? i cant reach the bolts no matter which way i attack it from... does anyone know where to get the bolts from .. or if there is something i have to remove first (tb)...?..... or if there are any other websites that u can send me a link to ,,,,, thanks in advance,,,,,,

get under the car, 3 14mm bolts hold it to the bellhousing, 1 10mm nut holds the main harness, and the last little wire is just pluged into the side of the block, just pull it out.

yeah...its not that difficult to do but if you have access to a lift, it'll help out extremely.

cool thanks everyone .. will try again tomorrow.. on another note.. does anyone know how to tell what size engine you have ( ie.. 1.6L , 1.8L )??
ive looked all over the car and see nothing that would tell me this...

check the vin number with a service manual. it'll tell you where the engine code is in the vin and should give you a list of which motor is what. also i believe the emission control label under the hood might tell you which one.
