don't remember reading about anyone doing a mazda oem remote start install but i have a question about one part of the directions... wrapping the key entry point with a ribbon cable... it says to make sure the striped side is a certian way, but there is no striped side that i can find.... lookin for a little help...

Haha.. i have no idea.. but like you said.. you have a 50/50 chance.

Is there no tech line to call?

You can try one way and then the other as long as you don't think you will fry anything.
