At OFF mode hold SELECT button, within 2 seconds press the MODE button 2 times, repeat to put it back to the previous setting...remmeber the psi will be displayed X 100 so 14.5 PSI will show 145. Push in the ROTARY KNOB to save the setting change.:D

Is this the spec II? If so, then yes, that's what should read while driving. It should fluctuate once you change the pedal pressure. But the whole numbers are in psi and do like above to get kpa.

I'm not following this thread at all... but there are two gains... one is an actual "gain" value or an amplification... and the other is the actual duty cycle which controls how much boost you run... the two combined yield your end results...

This isn't under boost is it? When im driving with light throttle its goes from -70 up to 12... When im idled it reads -96 to -99..
I have the Profec B-Spec II...

Yeah... 20" of mercury (which is a normal idle) should show up as ~9.8 psi on the profec... cruise should be around 12" mercury which would be 5.7 ish.

the gains ONLY affect your boost levels.. not your vacuum/cruising levels.. only changes what the peak boost the turbo will get to is.

Are you talking about driving at a constant speed, accelerating hard, normal, idle, what? We need a little more information to be helpful.

All on the positive side? Here's what the numbers could/should look like for what you just described.
Driving hard: 50's (means you are boosting about 5 psi)
Start car: -70 on initial start up then should fall to -90's at idle
Steady cruising: -60's - 40's depending on cruising speed

it reads in the negative 50s

Maybe a leak or you tapped into the wrong vac source?

did you take out the white caps in the solenoid?

Yeah, that's pretty low, especially if the car has been driven. Both the 'lo' and 'hi' appearing means that the unit is off correct? I can't remember. Anyway, you could try and cycle the unit. Turn on your car, turn the unit off or on then off or on again. (Turn on car, turn on unit, turn off unit or turn on car, turn off unit, turn on unit, turn off unit.) Other than that I would say go over your connections again. Actually, do you have the white plugs still plugged in (the unit in the engine)? If so, remove all the plugs and see if that helps.

It all depends on the mods in your car. I am completely stock, use the boost controller maybe once or twice a month. My settings for 7.5 - 8 psi are as follows:
Set: 13%
Gain: 26
SetGain: 35
Warning: 90 (with this setting it actually goes off when I hit 85)
Limiter: 5%
By the looks of it, your settings should yield around 7 to 8 psi.
