i pull out of a side street taking a left, the wheel cut a little hard, get on the gass half way befor i can shift into second the entire drivetrain shits the bed this was not a clutch or broken shifter linkage.

i told mazda that it was not either of thoes problems i know what a clutch smells like burning up an there was no scent

because in am 18 years old i dont know shit...

they take it for a drive an miss diegnose the problem an replace a worne clutch take it for a drive still not moving

take the transmission apart and what do u know i all by my self had broken
-differential carrier housing
-differential assemdly
-both carrier berings
-both axle shaft seals

all broken with the help of a coustem 3inch turbo back that has a cat resignator and a muffler also a cold air intake

according to mazda she was driven hard so we can not cover u under warenty the grand total 2,402.19$
o and they do not take personal checks so it went on a credit card

if this shit has happened to u let me know cuz i need some proof that it is there car causing the problems not me or an exaughst or a CAI i plan on fileing a law suit.....

This is a known problem for the LSD to break for no reason..It is a weak part...Make them bitchs warranty it...OR make them PROVE your aftermarket parts MADE it Break...Not just words but PROOF...Physical and undeniable PROOF!(boom07) (deadhorse

Can we learn english first there buddy. Mazda should cover it. Im a service advisor for mazda dealership. No outside influence to the trans like point of impact. So they covered the clutch is that true?

they had no choice but to cover the clutch it was not blown just a little warn down that was their arguement for the lsd "hard driving" and added stress due to a warn clutch
also they said that because i put new tires on the car i had to have burned the other ones off "hard driving" when in reality the tires that came on the car were dry rotted

Fight it. They can't speculate hard driving, they are feeding you bullshit! Dealers are fucktards period. Read my latest bout with another dealer in the Texas section. Get your car back and take it elsewhere and get a stronger quaife put in for $2500 along with a better clutch. Mazda is raping your ass without KY Jelly!

i fought mine and i got to the final stage of them actually coming to take pics as it were on a stand. Mazda said they would let an outside shop fix it and when it came to bill time they did shit......so i just got the guy fixing it to weld it and reinstall with new throwout bearing/clutch and flywheel.... It is about the same price and they actually fix it right the first time, unlike mazda....

Offer to split it 50/50 with you they might do it. Or ask them if they will GOODWILL the parts for you and you pay labor for repair.

Or quit being dicked around by the dealership, learn your rights and the federal laws protecting you when it comes to a warranty and take a stand.

also, not to brag about my previous situations but a well written letter works wonders; especially when sent to everyone at the dealership, including the owners and district managers.

ok so i may be dumb when it comes to manuel cars, whats a "LSD" amd do the new mazda 3 models have one? i have yet to do any modifications to the car yet but i am concerned this problem could occur to me. its a limited slip differential, and it poweres both wheels under heavy load as aposed to just one. i dont believe the new 3 comes with one

I would tell them to prove that you drive the car hard day in and day out. I mean shit, did they follow you around with a video camera showing you driving it hard, I think not. I would start a shit storm on the service writer then the service manager, then the dealership manager.....I did it before with Courtesy Mazda here in Vegas when I had my 6 and told them they could keep the fucking car because they obviously couldn't fix it right, I got out of the 6 and into the MSP that day. You just have to keep pushing your way up to the top, once your there SOMETIMES things will go your way.
