Guys, might have a stupid question here. But, bear with me anyway. I know I have read on here that when you put on an intake you should reset your ECU. I do not have an intake on my car yet but I did remove most of the stock airbox intake crap. Basically I removed everything but the box that the filter sits in. Do I need to reset the ECU after doing this ? Not sure how much more air I am going to take in over the stock mess of plumbing.............Also, can someone refresh my memory on how to reset it ? I can't seem to find it in a search.....

Thanks

Got my intake about a month back, didn't do this. Should I? Or is it too late to matter?

doesn't matter, your ecu has probably learned with it on.

Reset it anyway, on the way to the mountains for an afternoon cruise, I'll let you guys know if it feels any different.

Pulling the forward most fuse in the electrical box in the engine compartment will also reset the ECU without freaking out your alarm. It's marked fuel or something similar.

I had no freak out of the alarm, but I really didn't notice the difference. I'm pretty sure it had already learned the intake. The cruise kicked ass though, got it sideways a few times, twas a great way to spend a fall afternoon.
