Is Sirius the only unit that will work or will XM also work with the Radio in the 3 ???

only sirius and only on 05+ models...

99% sure on the sirius only thing

I am wondering since I have seen reference of XM or Sirius working on Factory Satalite ready radios.

it may, but xm doesn't make a module to plug into a factory deck... i would imagine the contract they have with sirius states that they are the sole provider till such and such a date...
