So Ive been thinking we need to have a regional meet down here. Lets get something setup for the near future. Post if you are interested in coming and a good central location for everyone and some sort of time frame when we could do this.

well i know for sure in feb 20-26 i'll be in myrtle beach for the winter cruize tour! that would be a great time to have a meet! it wouldn't take much time for people to get there from everywhere and there would be plenty of hotels to stay at. and then there is a big show, bunch of cars and good time to cruise.

but i know for sure all the way up to x-mas i won't be able to any long weekends cause i'm in sales and we get busy.

I live in conway, 5 minutes from myrtle beach...Im going to coastal carolina university. If we are going to do it here, which I would suggest against unless it is an off time for tourists. If there are alot of tourists this place will be packed...however if we do it here in an off month, hotels and what not will be cheaper etc etc and it could be a good time. During winter alot of stuff closes down and Im not real sure when it opens up. Im down to do it where ever. I think if we put some planning into this and givea big notice to everyone, alot of people will be able to make it. I would like to make this thing as big as possible and get people from all over to come down here.

We could do that then, lets see if others are interested and want to make the drive to myrtle beach in feb.......this does give us some time to plan. Plus the options for hotels and places to go/things to do....bars etc etc

How about a little more north... like Virginia Beach? I would definately go, but it'd be nice to have it a little closer. VA Beach seems like a middle point for the east coast.

this is my thought on a meet farther north: the MEC peeps already have meets up there, not that i wouldn't like to meet with them too, its just that all the meets are always so far away from here. it'd be nice to just cruise down to MB and hang out, rather than have to drive 6-8 hrs. i know the charlotte guys have a bit of a trip, but its alot closer than VB. just my .02......

Bad, evil, naughty things... I'm considering this...Scott or Luke(or any other Ga peeps, those 2 are the only 1's I've seen in this thread), how long a drive (add +1 hrs for me lol)? Google says 7hrs, but I don't buy it...

auto-x isnt normally done on a "track". usually cones set up on a parking lot for a course. it might be difficult to have a race that isn't sanctioned, tho. unless someone knows how to do that. idk.....
