I am not getting any boost from my car/ turbo!!
What could cause this to happen.. I am not sure. I have vacuum at about 19-20 pounds but when I drive I never boost. I took my turbo off and had MPNICK hone it out but still no boost... the wastergate seems to be fine and I also checked the bpv to make sure that I wasn't leeking boost.

I am stumped
please hook a brother up!

wastegate clip breaking, or falling off the turbo, causing no boost, or possibly a loose vac line that is causing the wastegate to stay forced shut?

1st scenario happened to me.

perhaps you have a giant boost leak?

do you get turbo noise and whistle, and did this start happeneing b4 of after you sent it to Nick (not to say nick did anything, just gathering info)

Sounds to me like something has gone wrong in your wastegate though..It sounds as if its in a constant open position...Never letting boost build but yet the turbo will spool to high heaven!

you got it .. is this a part that mental can get me???

if i understand correct the wastegate literally has a flap inside that opens once your systems detects excess boost. This causes the boost to remain at the required setting. This flap is not metal from what i understand, it can melt and i have seen with my own eyes that my wastegate melted into one position (once mazda cracked it apart) my exhaust snapped and the heat leaked into the engine bay....anyway, because the gate dilates it causes this flap to stick, not allowing it to move. If it were expanded.....or dilated, it would be stuck in one position because the piece would be immobile. now understand that it can be stuck in the open position, not allowing any boost to build, or closed...which would cause excess boost. Now i may have this concept backwards but it is one of the two. This is my understanding from what mazda showed me, i am not a mechanic but it makes sense. The word dilate sir, defined my problem perfectly. Maybe the same applys to you....

and no, if i am correct i think the turbo and waste gate is one system, otherwise i would have not went through that many turbos. i would reccomend picking up a new turbo or get the full kit....

solo, atp turbo can get you a wastegate for our turbos for like 60 shipped. remember internal wastegate is us.

same thing just happened to me...mazda replaced it...all better now :D

the actual part we are all talking about is the actuator that attaches to our internal wastegates.

Solo please becareful and also make sure you ensure that whatever gouged your turbo insides up the first time is still not allowing for objects to go into the turbo agian. This will only destroy your brand new built one...

we have acurrent memeber here who cannot achieve boost and his turbo is making this high pitched ungodly noise, it is becuase he has a bad actuator, so I'm hoping this is your problem...

keep us updated and good luck!!!

another thing that you can check, and the only reason that i am saying this is because it happened to me. i had a huge boost leak at one point in the begining and being that my dealership told me to put it back to stock before they would even look at it, i started doing it. piece by piece after i took it off i tested the car. and after i took off my cold air intake which really doesnt make sense, but after i took it off the car ran fine. so i readjusted the couplings on it and tightened the hell out of it and it still works fine. but check this if you have an aftermarket intake.

aight will do.. My intake is fine. I did have a slight leak in the hard piping from the turbo to the intercooler but I fixed that problem.. It caused my vacuum to be lower than norm.
The actual internal gate is fine but the actuator is very easily move which it should not be.

I ordered a wastegate actuator from Forge motorsports
