View Full Version : NJ/PA Dyno day Saturday October 15th!

Trying to get a group of people together to dyno our cars. I need atleast 6 people to get the discounted rate of $50/3 pulls with A/F reading. The shop is located in South Philly and is called www.phillydynoworks.com (http://www.phillydynoworks.com) Great guys to deal with. They have a DynoJet 424x dyno.

Let get the show on the road!

OK guys.

The time is from around 9am-6pm on Saturday. The NJ group will be meeting up at the Park & Ride in Yardley, PA off of I-95 right on the NJ/PA border. We'll be leaving there at 8am sharp!

DIRECTIONS TO THE PARK AND RIDE Parking lot.

From NJ/North: Take I-95 into Pennsylvania. Take exit 51 (the very first exit in PA) towards New Hope. The Park & Ride is on your right at the first light.

From NJ Turnpike: Take exit 7A to I-195 West. See directions from I-195.

From I-195:Take I-195 West to the end. Keep to the left, and 195 West will turn into Route 29 North. Continue on Route 29 North to I-95 South. Cross over the bridge, and take the first exit in PA (exit 51 towards New Hope). The Park & Ride is on your right at the first light.

From PA/South: Take I-95 North towards New Jersey. Take exit 51 (the last exit in PA). Keep left at the fork, and turn left onto Taylorsville Road. The Park & Ride is on your right at the first light.

From Southern NJ: Take I-295 North to the end. I-295 will turn into I-95 South. See directions from NJ/North.

Everybody who's 100% going please email me your info like Name/Make/Model. I'm going to be making a list of all the people that are going and the order in which people will dyno.

I should be down. I'm thinking of going with a big GT28 in a few months, and it would be nice to have a "before" pull. According to my calculations, my turbo is hella inefficient at redline at my boost level.

I won't be hitting the dyno, but I might try to get out there to meet a few of the people from here. Philly isn't too far of a trip for me (only 15 minutes from work!) so if I'm able to get into the area, then I will. And for those who use the Betsy Ross Bridge... this Sunday, it will be closed from 7:30-9:00 am.

Normal open time is 10am-6pm on Saturday.

If we have a lot more cars the they will open earlier at 9am.

I am an idiot I thought you meant this weekend, I should be a definite for next weekend.

I should have DSMs AFC and a MBC installed by then too. Doubt my J and S will be here in time though.

Ok, cool.

I need to get there a good amount of time before I run my car, as I want it to completely cool down first.

Also, I like to sleep in on Saturdays, and I'm an hour away. :)

Yeah I am pretty far away too. It takes me about 2 and a half hours to see my gf at UPENN which is in Philly so not sure how much further this place is.

For now, he's gotta get the old motor out. I'd love to join in, but I gotta spend my wideband money on some replacement parts. (bang)

Yeah it turned out I had to stay home and help my rents with the house we are building, sorry. Glad it was a good time. I want hear some numbers : )
