NGK series... V-Power, platium, irridium... etc... I using the copper V-power on my 2000 LX 1.6L, works good. Next time I will try out the irridium series from NGK...

u dont need copper in a stock motor, the copper is for turbo aps.. go to mazda and get the NGK stock ones, they are the best for a stock motor..

So you saying the stock plug is not made from copper? I thought stock one (V-power) is copper...

the stock ones mazda gave me are NGK Iridium plugs, alot of people use copper plugs cause its a colder plug, witch is better for boost.. i know the ones mazda gave me as factory plugs are not copper

So Mazda gave u the $6.95 NGK Iridium spark plug instead of the $2.24 V-Power ( regular ) ones?

They'll come in handy when you get the turbo done.... (thumb)

my stock plugs were irridiums. Still have those banged up suckers in my tool box (banged up from the ViCS defect)
