For all those who didn't know, tanabe USA now produces a strut bar for the 03+ mazda 6.. this may be old news, but I didn't know this and I just ordered one!

Meh how does it perform Is what I'm wondering....the Mazda 6 is so front heavy you don't need a strut bar for it

The car already has a strut bar... Please see the other threads on the topic. Aftermarket bars only serve as an aesthetic modification. Underhood bling.

thanks crossbow and da 6.. I was not aware of the already existant braces in place in the car.. cancelling my order for the tanabe bar now! :)

Tripoint does use a strut bar on their race car...but they also completely replace the shock towers, and weld the bar to the vehicles stock bracing (Its welded to both shock towers, then to the center of the stock bracing in the back center of the engine bay).
rear brace may possibly do "Something" due to the fact the hatch and wagon lacks that red one in the rear behind the seats commonly found on the sedans.
