Door lock mechanism broke...

The little lbakc box in the dorr that locks or unlocks the car, on the driver's door, broke...

Just that one. What PITA it is. All the other doors work fine.

I took the little box apart, and the little plastic shaft is snapped. I tried gluing it and that held for about three movements then busted again.

Time to get a new one...

When I bought my car last month the pass rear dock lock was broken, the same plastic shaft was broke in half. A new one from the dealer is $100canadian, I think I'll just live with locking it manually.

ive had both rear door locks brake just like that over the past year. and its such a pain to get that stupid box back in the door! i think it was $68 for a new one. no way to superglue that white thing back together, i tried for over a week!

yep, my passenger one broke a few months ago, and my driver side window motor got all f***** up too

I might, the delaership told me $65 then ordered the wrong part, which came in today.

The new part should be here Wednesday...
