Hey, My names will, and i've got a 2000 LX. I bought a Grant GT steering wheel of a friend of mine and now i found out that i need 2 mounting plates for it. one for the steering wheel and one for the car. i was wondering if the 2000 steering knuckle was the same as a 90? seeing as how the kit makes mounting plates for cars without air bags.

You do know it's VERY illegal to remove airbags from an airbag equipped car ???

in canada you are allowed to remove air bags from a vehicle as long as if you sell it you notify the person buying it. besides, airbags freak me out anyways

as long as the 2000 is the same as the 2002, (i dont know if it is) the miata hub works. i used the sparco miata hub and it worked great!!!
btw my airbags didnt work anyway so i didnt mind removing mine!!!!

Stooopid. Air bags save lives [poor grammer - i know;)]. If your insurance adjuster looked at the wreck and saw the Grant - he would NOT pay for any of your injuries. The courts would not support you.

For a bling steering wheel?! What is your life and insurance worth to you?

Ya' gotta' be kiddin' me. [snort]

You may drive "great" but not so many other people do. (loser)

just because you haven't gotten into an accident - yet - , doesn't mean you're a great driver

in fact, i've found that 99% of ppl claiming to be great drivers are actually some of the WORST on the planet

how many defensive driving courses have you taken? road racing courses? got an SCCA license? do any auto-x? how long have you been driving for? less than 10 years? how many different vehicles have you owned/driven for extended periods (over 2 years)
judging simply from your userID, you can't be more than 23-25 years old, making you prime target for ins. co.'s justification for making ME pay higher rates

you don't qualify, leave the wheel alone unless you wanna win a darwin award
