Well you are talking about rotary motor. I think it would be pretty hard to do this swap as just to think of it, the engine bays are a bit different from each other. Plus isn't the 626 a front wheel drive? rotary mazda's are all rear wheel drive, so you would have to do ALOT of fabrication.

As I said before, everything is possible, but here you will just spend incredible amount of money.

i believe pre 86 626s are carbureted making turbocharging them very hard
