I didn't run a stock 2.0 down the track, but I did run my stock 2.3 (AT) down the open road. Speed tops out at 118 before the speed limiter kicks in, and I can go from 0-60 in about 8 seconds, unofficially.

The 06 2.0 has some balls. Driving both the 06 2.3 and 2.0 back to back, the 2l feels quicker... hmmm
what state do u live in? what kind of weather conditions was it cause thats amazing for a 2.0L

I've seen the breakdown of the 2.0L as well in a car mag and the numbers were higher than the 2.3L as you would suspect. I think it was R&T. I'm searching now...

2.0 ran 15.6 stock? haha ok, timeslip? i ran a 16.0 in the 2.3 stock, so i tied car and driver, and i was getting the worst 60' ever, think my best was 2.3x, ps what was your trap speed mz304 since you aren't going to post a timeslip im sure....

100lbs lighter and only a 12hp difference, 10hp for '06. I think the 2.3 has nicer power band, though.

a buddy of mine hit the track this week end and ran a 1/4 mile in his 5speed 05 sedan 2.0l currently stock......
and he's damn good...usually a week-end warrior moving down as hes getting older from an impreza 22b (sold for $60,000(!?)... anyway...
BEST TIME: 16.x (.7or .8?)......... not 15.6...

With the 2 liters I had:
15.829 with: flywheel, exhaust, intake, SSK, jack and spare taken out and heavy 17's
14.16: same thing than the things listed on my first run + 55hp nitrous
next year I'll go with crazy light 15 inches rim to see what I can do...

I dont really believe the 2.0 is quicker than the 2.3, 2.3 is deff quicker.
we're not sayin that...this is where us 2.0L owners get to brag about our shit...well sort of....the only thing i must add is this, Juan from Hiboost noted that the 2.0L responded much better to the Turbo than the 2.3L so maybe the 2.0L is more "mod friendly"
