Well, i just got the car...now i've bee hearing alot about the HU on this car 03.5 msp.
the thing is that it plays audio cd's flawlessly....but if i insert a MP3 cds (of which i have about 150 and they've have played on other mp3 players)
it won't read it...it will read it as a audio cd with one track of 74 min with no sound.
Now, if i'm not mistaken...the user's manual on thie KENWOOD hu says it plays MP3's and that playing MP3's is not model specific.
it should play mp3s..right?
another thing is...how do i reset the unit? maybe that's the problem.

PS: in the trunk...there's the subwoofer...and next to it is a little black box...now...what does this box do?
something else...i'm getting rid of the subwoofer...and my wife drives a protege 03...will this box fit on her protege's trunk as just a bolt on.
since she doens't have a subwoofer...and she doesn't need one that is too loud.
