I heard a story today about the screws that hold the butterfly valves in our intake manifolds. Story goes: Mazda dosent care much to tighten down these screws. In some cases they get loose and get suckin into the engine, taking out a spark plug, and then destroy the hotside of the turbo.

Any known cases of this happening? If so.. i'll be sure to remove them, which brings me to my next question. I've done a few searches, and theres arguments on whether or not the MSPs have VTCS. So do they or not?

all i can say is that i am 99% sure that the MP3 had no VTCS. i don't know about MSP, but I would guess that they do not

one more reason to take them out and get some more top end power.
