ok, is my first day with the car, and i couldn't help but notice an aftermarket kenwood radio(i'm guessing is the same one that came with the MP3 protege as it supposily plays mp3's)

not, i also noticed a box in the back that appears to be a subwoofer, and a space next to it that will look like where the amp goes.
now, there's no amp, also..i found the cable hidden behind the plastic covers, there's 5 cables
2 i'm guessing AUDIO since they have RCA plugs
1 BLUE which i'm guessing is the REMOTE
1 Yellow, which i'm guessin is the (+)
and 1 black should be (-) ground.

none of this cables have power, where is the fuse...as i believe the MORRON that had this car too with him the amp and just threw, without care about short-circuiting the powercables.

I was thinking about putting a box anyways, but if this subwoofer sounds good, i might leave it stock and instead take the money towards my wife's protege and get her an amp and speakers.

that's it for now....but shurely enough. i will be back...3

TIA

The fuse is right off of the battery, You have figured out all the wire codes. Good luck.

for some reason, the remote doesn't have +12 and even if i manually turn on the amp, the audio cables have no audio comming from them

the 8" sub has had several problems with several members on the forum, it would be better just to rip it out and install your own system. When you do that, just re-run the wires. The kenwood head unit has pre outs, so you don't have to worry about that.
