i have a injen intake and right after i installed this the engine light went on
now i have to get a inspection and realized how stupid i was
i have no background knowledge about cars
so i am asking you guys
how do you guys turn off the engine light or manage the engine???
i heard if you adjust the computer system the light will go away
is that true??
plz help me guys

Disconnect the negative battery terminal and hold down the brake pedal to drain the residual power. However, you should go to AutoZone or another parts store that offers to read your code for free. I don't know if you disconnected the battery prior to installing the Injen. But its a good idea to do that when you are working with sensors and other electrical items. Were you careful not to drop or disturb the MAF? The light will only go away if you diagnose and solve the problem.

what is exactly battery prior???
actually i went to speed shop to install it
could you tell me how to check it???
two days ago i went to the shop (wasn't speed shop)
and they had a little thing measure the code
they said the ox is too rich (i guess that means the engine sucks more ox than it should be )
plz tell me about it thank you

after i got the intake
i heard sound like tick tick tick tick
it never stopped since then
have you ever had this kind of problem???
i hope it is not serious
