does anyone have a pic of the stock egr pipe?
actually you can just look under your hood and see it right away. Look at the exhaust manifold and you will see that on the driver's side of the mani, there is a copper pipe coming out of it and bends 90 degrees and goes towards the firewall. Thats the EGR pipe

Mine was alittle more bent that it should be...

Connects onto the header nipple\bung whatever you wanna call it, again, bent more than should be.

it was a nightmare to put the new one on, I couldnt find anything to fit in with all the space restrictions, I had to remove the whole intake manifold to put the new one in... and even with the IM off, I had to soak it with penetraiting oil for awhile, that metal was thin, and I could feel the damn thing starting to strip.

Too bad it's probably a metric thread pattern on there. Otherwise we could probably make something up with the tubing we sell at my job.
keep in mind that, that bolt on the EGR pipe doesnt come off of it.

Yeah, my friend who is usually pretty handy with fabricating and making things work destroyed the thing. I had to order a new one, that one was unsalvagable. the kink would have blocked all flow. I had my header on and just capped the bung for the longest time. Im not sure if it was hurting my car or not, its like 50-50 on that vote. raises chances of detonation because the gasses cool the combustion chamber, plus I could see birds falling from the sky with the NoX I was putting out. Not that I make a habit of smelling my exhaust, but I could REALLY smell the difference with it hooked up vs having it capped. LOL moose I drove one day with out the cap on, and it sounded horrible. I got the EGR pipe shipped for under 50 bucks from http://www.mazda-parts-dealer.com/parts.htm
