It went up to 300 at the request of simota. Umnitza is going to be the only authorized dealer according to him. However, the new version of the intake is throwing cels. Simota is currently trying to resolve the problem. I don't know where to get one cheaper. Try xtec on the mazda3 forums

the umnitza is dyno'd at 8hp and 8tq plus no hydro lock and I got it for 150. I'll take that over injen, AEM and K and N any day

i did my own dyno with the umnitza and def don't think those numbers are correct, i love mine and for the price it was/is great.... though for 3bills i don't think so...

the SRI gave you 8HP? do you have papers to prove it? I seriously doubt it unless you have a cat-back, most people will agree that you can probably get between 3-5HP from the SRI. If you got it for 150 then that sounds great, very good HP/Money ratio i think. But if its gonna cost you 300 bucks then i would rather pay Ken 220 (i think it is ) for an AME CAI and get a little bit more of HP especialli when you have a cat-back i heard (havvent done it myself) that it can give you up to 10 HP more.

I wouldn't buy it for 300 either but I also wouldn't by the other brands for the prices they are selling at. Here is a link to the dyno's. enjoy.

i have driven cars with numerous different CAI and never hydrolocked under any weather condition. plus you can always use a bypass valve if you are worried. i have driven a mazda 3 both with and without an unmitza installed and personally, save the awesome sound, was not blown away by it as a mod on its own.

I have much better throttle have definately noticed a gain in high end hp. Anyone have any dyno's for the CAI's? By the way the dyno for the umnitza is on an otherwise stock car.

yeah i have my dyno around here some where... my prob was i didn't do a stock run but besides the sri my car is stock and with it i put down 137 or something like that for hp and 134 for tq i believe... this was all with a 4th gear pull, and it was damn hot out that day, over 100 in the sun, so there was some deffin heat soak involved, and after my second run the guy noticed my ac was on... so in all honesty who the fuck knows how it affected my car.... it was a waste of 50$ but the experience was cool, and i had a hellova time on the drive down...
