Ok, as you guys know i've been trying to find wheels for my car. I had to pass on the volks because the guy coudlnt confirm the offset and it could have been a wide rand from like +40 to +50, and i needed at least a +45 offset.
Anyhow. I stumbled across some kick ass advans for sale but they are a 5 X100 18 X 7.5 +48 offset.
I know the msp is 5X114.3, but on ebay shit, they list wheels as 5X100/5X114.3 liek they can fit the same shit? Will this wheel work, or is it a hopeless idea?

shouldn't the offset be stamped on the inside/backside of the wheel?
and i don't think you're gonna make a 5x100 fit....not unless u change your bolt pattern. i guess that'd be a wheel stud conversion?

so i'm shit out of luck. DAMMMIT. All of these subaru wheels with the prefect size and offset and the wrong damn bolt pattern.

5x100/5x114.3 are called unilug, iirc.
They are the ones you see with like 10 lugstud holes in them like these http://www.machiii.net/images/wheels/big_c8.jpg .
They are drilled to fit both patterns.

yea but all of those fuckers run 8" wide stock and no one orders any smaller width. Dahhhhh. I want wheels so bad but i dont want to bend over and pay 500-600/wheel new. I want to pick up a nice used set but no one ever has them with either a) our bolt pattern or b) or offset.

If you find wheels that are 5x100 only, you COULD take it to a machine shop and have them drilled for 5x114.3. I'd be a few hundred bucks though.

Lightweight uber JDM shit only. 5-6 Spokes, lightweight, silver/gunmetal.
I want either:
Volk LE37T's

Gram Lights 57S's
http://store1.yimg.com/I/hopup1_1860_130218053
Advan Model 6's

Advan RCII's

I've found mint examples of the 57S's, Model 6's and RCII's for sale but all are 5 X 114.3. I'll be calling around tommorow to see if they can be redrilled.

Not for a super cheap price. I'm willing to pay 1500-1600 for the wheels alone but It doesnt make sense to go by brand new wheels right away until i've looked at all possible money saving alternatives.
Just because you want to buy expensive shit and have the means to do so doenst mean you dont care about the bottom line and saving a couple bucks here and there. It all adds up. Sorry for trying to save some money. I'm sure you guys have never tried to do such a crazy thing.

Just keep looking. I waited a year before I found a deal on the wheels I wanted. I couldn't have afforded new ones.
