View Full Version : ksport install
Does anyone have a how-to on installing these? Is it easy to do? What kind of tools would i need. I never touched my suspension before but i have taken apart my exhaust manifold, s-pipe, turbo with no problem. Is these anything i have to look out for? Thanks

Not terribly hard. It is a swap, old stuff out, new stuff in. You will need to get an alignment of course.
The biggest problem is my rear seatbelt locking up after I had to take them out to get to the rears.
Also, the driver's rear wheel sticks out about a 1/2 inch. I am not sure what causes it, but it is fixable. I am not sure if it is on the P5 only.

Sticks out half an inch? Could it be an alignment issue or camber issue. Does any one else have experience with them. I'm about to come into some soon.

Beau told me what it was, but I forgot. It might be only on the P5s.
I thought my wheel was the wrong offset. It rubbed the tire on the fender. I just raised it up a bit. I also cut out the inner fender a lot with a grinder. I have plenty of room.
You wouldn't be able to tell it sticks out unless I told you.
would i need a spring compressor for this?

Yes they come with top mounts. It is easier to istall these then it is to do a spring and sturt deal. It is just plug and play. Take the old setup out. The new one is all ready to go, just put it in. I dont see why it would stick out more in the rear. I know mine never did that I knew of at least..
