Well I did some searching and read as much as I could about the clunk suspension problems MSP's have. Mine however does not appear to be like the others. Let me know what you all think, I would appreciate any help anyone can give.

Symptoms: Car makes a clunking noise that gets faster and slower depending on the vehicles speed. Also the clunk gets louder and softer depending on the throttle. If I accelerate at WOT I have no noises or clunks. However, if I push the clutch in and coast the clunk is at its loudest. If I brake, the clunk gets softer. Also the clunk sound also generates steering wheel vibrations, again the louder the clunk the more vibrations as one would expect. WOT, no clunks or vibrations at all. Also with the window down I get squeaks from the car as well, and not the normal squeaky bushings MSP's are known for. Everything is generated from the drivers side front. Turning does not affect the clunk accept that turning to the right (compressing the drivers front suspenssion) I get a deep clunk that goes through the car more.

I need to get going, so I cannot type anymore, if you could all let me know what you think I would appreciate it.

Never heard of this kind of clunk before...do you still have your warranty? I think you should have the dealership check it out for you.

How many miles do you have on your car? Make the brake pads are wearing out.

hmmmm...seems like it is consistent with your speed...

check if:
- your wheels are balanced properly
- CV joints are lubed up and working properly
- rotors aren't warped

20k miles, going in for a closer inspection tomorrow night, I dont have time till then.

Still under warranty, but due to the previous owner putting items on the car Mazda is being a punk about looking even looking at the car. Its funny to cause the car does not really have mods IMO. Its got wheels and a boost gauge and thats it. 5Zigen stock size, on stock tires.

Wheels 'should' be balanced, another thing thats says its not the wheels is the fact it does it at any speed, even rolling at 1mph, ill get the knock.

CV Joints are my guess too, however with 20k miles I cant see how they could be bad, but like I said I have not had time to check, will do it tomorrow night.

I dont have any vibes in the brake pedal under any braking conditions so I dont think I would have warped rotors.

Ok, really need to get going, Il check back later tonight. Thanks for the quick reply's
