Another rub question!

Trying to pick up a set of used volk rims off a friend. He had them on an RSX.

Wheels are 18X7.5 + 45mm offset with 225/40/18 Nitto NT55's on them. I have K-SPorts so i can do adjustable height as neccesary, but would they rub on inner fenders, etc?

I'm thinking about picking them up and then trading rubber to 215/35's when the time comes. I just want to know that I could use them until i replace the tires (tires have 3k miles on them)

In which one guy says he runs this combo but he is on +48mm offset. Any thoughts?

i think you'll be cutting it really close with the 225 tires. with 215 tires u should be fine. mine are 17x7.5 +45 offset with 215/45/17 tries.

if it rubs, it'll be the rear fender...maybe u can run a little more camber temporarily?

dont listen to any of them, either roll the first 4 inches of the fenders with a baseball bat or get the fender professionally grinded down then paint....
