Never mind - I might want to do a search BEFORE posting my question (braindead (braindead
My auto-down feature on my driver window seems to be very "touchy". Sometimes it just doesn't seem to work at all, the window just stops moving as soon as I let go of the switch. Other times it works flawlessly and goes down all the way. Is the switch extremely "finiky" by (bad) design or do I have a bum switch. I've only had the car a week. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

actually i did the first 2 weeks i had the car. It would just stop half way down by itself. really strange. I mentioned it to the dealer when i came in for my first oil change. yes i had my first 3000 miles in 3 weeks. They said nothing was wrong with it but it didnt do it anymore so i guess they fixed it but didint want to admit to it?

I have seen that there are others that have the same issue but has anyone had the dealer look at it and subsequently fix the problem (and say they did)?

I had that problem, too. Well, still do. It'll either stop while it's a third down, or has about another sixth to go down before it's all the way in the door. I also noticed that it slides back and forth a little bit. At first, I thought it was just me, and the guys in my shop said it was probably the window regulator. But my guess is that it's just a minor problem that they won't warranty fix for you.
