I'm gonna be putting the boost controller on with my unichip later today, but I have the stock airbox. Just wondering where you guys mounted your b/c with stock airbox, thanks.

Brian:
I placed the solenoid where the instructions said, namely, on the battery shelf. In order to do so, I permanently removed the plastic "battery surround" to better expose said shelf. This frees up the room necessary to mount the solenoid on the battery shelf (and makes the engine bay a little cleaner looking in my opinion). I then removed the stock air box and flipped it upside down. Upon doing so you will see small plastic "fins" that run at a 45 degree angle and more or less "touch" the battery shelf when the air box is installed. I took a box cutter and simply trimmed the "fins" on the underside of the air box so that they were flush with the rest of the box. This generated the additional space on the air box necessary for the solenoid to both fit on the shelf and not touch the air box underside. The solenoid fit beautifully after I did the trimming, and moreover, the trimming is impossible to see unless the airbox is fully removed and flipped over. Note that the air box trimming does not involve cutting anything that affects its performance.
Hope this helps.
P.S. I now have the Injen CAI, but I originally installed the solenoid with the stock air box in place.

Brian- I used 2 zipties and secured the soleniod next to the airbox. You can squeeze the ties through 2 of the 3 slots where the airbox fits together. I'll snag a pic later tonight.

Are you holding 10psi? I finally ran Timing Map B since you said you felt a difference but I didn't feel one. Still feels slow on stock boost :(
