headlamp question

tryed searching couldnt find, are h4 and 9003 bulbs the same, please help thanx.

maybe people are just blowing me off (shrug), just a simple question if anyone knows if 9003 and H4 headlamp bulbs are the same, any help would be great

i'm guessing that the H4 is the usa version of 9003 euro... i could be very wrong tho... and no they are NOT interchangable... euro to american... i'm still unsure of the bulbs you are talking about tho

well the reason i ask is when you look on the sylvania website they state that 9003 are the direct replacement bulb for the 2003 mazdaspeed but everyone usually states that its the H4 bulbs and if you look on sylvania website they state H4 are for motorcycle use...... I'm a little confused, because when you remove the stock bulb and look on the back it states H4..... Im thinking there the same but im not sure.....

im using sylvania 9003 st/2 headlights in my mp3 with h3 as the foglights. the mp3 and msp uses same size lights. so yeah, 9003 works

ya i just got some xenon lights and the box said H4/9003 and they fit perfect, im guessing their the same bulbs.

but the bottom would be the feet.we were on the head (lamp) so that would be the top! never mind. im retarded.
