Everything is buttery smooth now.

I wanted to install them separately to tell the difference, but I thought it would be easier to do both of them at the same time.

RR Racing motor mount inserts are great. Bought them online from Rafi at RR Racing and they were shipped to me quickly. They fit nicely in the stock mounts. Probably the hardest part was taking the stock mount out. It was a bitch to get off but it was done after some grunt work. Anyways, there isn't as much engine lashing as before. There is still a little lashing in second gear if I accelerate hard and let off the gas abruptly, but not as much as before. Acceleration feels more solid too. At idle, there is very slight increase in cabin vibration, but not enough to care. Not noticeable at all at driving speeds. Glad that worked well.

Changed my tranny fluid to Redline MT90. Before this, shifting into 2nd needed alot of muscle and proper timing. Now, i can don't have to use as much effort shifting into second gear. Shifting in other gears feels smoother as well. I may upgrade to a Kartboy shifter bushing in the future.

That is all. :)

yeah, i thought about those. i'll see how well the motor mount inserts go. i haven't driven that much with it on yet, but my initial feelings are really good.

Update:

OK drove it around on the weekend. Including a drive to Irvine for the informal MOCC meet.

Impressions:
- a little bit of vibration at idle. more noticeable as the rpms dip lower sometimes.
- more solid feeling during acceleration
- alot less wheel hop
- at highway speeds, transition from throttle on to off is smooth, there is no jerking like before.

I highly recommend these, and they're only $40 shipped from RR Racing
