Probably in the next two to three weeks, I will receive an estimated $1000 in scholarship money. I am thinking of upgrading my fuel pump, fuel rail, injectors, purchase an electronic AFC, and a front mount. I was wondering if someone could tell me of this is a right start or suggest something else.

It's too bad it's not more. With some Forged Goodies, you could make some real HP.

since you already have exhaust i would def say get a fmic and an afc. That will be right around 1k or so depending on what fmic you get. I'd say get dsm's afc its a great deal and does the job.

I don't think any of those upgrades to your fuel system would really be beneficial, besides an AFC. With a non-forged engine, I think the stock fuel system can handle anything you throw at it.

many people with built engines seem to be running stock fuel rail, some the stock pump, FPR, etc

get some kind of downpipe and midpipe to free up the exhaust. your catback is yielding minimal gains compared to what you could be getting with everything from the turbo back upgraded.

you already have the TH pipes - pick up the SMIC. very good gains there.

if you have money left, pick up the afc.

like peeps said, the stock fuel components are good for now.

Bunch the Cat, it's free and a massive HP/Spool gain.

But that doesn't make any sense. Shouldn't upgrading the fuel help the engine take a little more boost and not lean out? Also, what are some good FMICs for a good price?

The Fuel system can handle a bit extra boost with the designed headroom that is present.

Ok. Now that I know that, can someone let me know where I could find a FMIC for about $600.

afc or another EMS is the best bet, then FMIC, colder plugs, no cat + BOOST!
