Cold air NO MORE.......

A/C stopped blowing cold air. Recharged it and it was good for 3 days now back to hot air. The leak seems to be in evaporator, the electronic sniffer goes crazy when you stick it in the vents. How hard is it to change the A/C EVAPORATOR? 1996 Protoge in Miami you need the A/C.

NOt hard at all just out with the old in with the new. 2 tubes and some screws.

Dont worry about refigerent being bad for the atmosphere or anything modern ones arent. Just let that crap leak out, change it and recharge it.

You make it sound easy? How much disassembly do have to do to get it out? Freon is in the hole in the atmosphere because it's empty, all gone.
