check engine light

my check engine light is flashing. does anybody know what that means?

well...go to autozone they check it for free...or buy one of them check engine ligh little adapter computer things they sell at just about any car place and do it urself...that's my input :)

ps: did it just randomly come on and start flipping out? or you did something w/ the electrical (like installing a cai)?

actually its pretty much been on since i got it
when i first got the car the guy who inspected it said it was just a missing hose which i replaced and my uncle got the light to go off.
but it went back on and every sometimes it starts flashing so i dunno.

a flashing CEL is NOT GOOD. It could be a major problem.

Do not drive it UNTIL you get the code read!!!
