If you're going to do that, look into spending the extra $ and get it extrude honed.

If you get it extrude honed then you will need to come up with new VICS blades. It would be a pain in the butt. The idea for the intake porting is to get rid of the VTCS and the steps in the manifold for the system. It is not to increase runner size.

So you guys recommend getting it ported and polished, and remove just the VTCS. I was also planning to get a 3 angle valve job. Any input on that?

I had Extrudehoning done to it and removed the VTCS plates. It's Shiney...

How much would a pnp cost for an intake manifold?

Thats in the head. If your going that far you might as well do a p&p. This is something you do not want to mess with unless you have the right tools, equipment and know how. Many companies can give you a p&p but not many actually do it right. A good valve preparation and undercutting can and will increase flow better than a p&p for our application. I know MpNick does some pretty trick stuff to the stock valves for not too much money.
