ground wires

hello people. i 'm going to change my ground wires and i would be interested to hear about certain brands that you know that will be good for miata. also does anyone know if ground wires give any bhp? i was told that you might gain 2-3 bhp by a good pair of ground wires.

Your best bet is to go custom with some 4 or 8 gauge wire. I wouldnt expect any gains from it maybe .2-.3, but when i did mine it seemed to smooth the idle and make my engine prettier..

ground wires for any car, primarily help if you have an old car like mine. My 91 has 205k miles on it, and has plenty of corrosion on the ground wires. changing them would help with smoother idle/power. But as far as HP, it's negligable. On the newer cars, it's just bling-bling.
