I did a search and found that a few body kits like accolade, WW, etc. replace the front bumper. I got into a small fender bender, and my front bumper is cracked (luckily no other damage). I am looking for the best fitting front bumper replacement that is not too ricey, but would make a black MSP look better. I'm not much of a body kit guy, so that's why I'm trying to get opinions. Thanks.

Is the mintblue a full replacement or just a cover? I like the looks of that one.

I can vouch for the Wings West. Over time it develops a tiny bit of sagging under the headlights, but that can be easily fixed with some epoxy and 4 angle iron brackets. I am going to fix mine over the weekend, so if you want to see some pics of the process or a before and after just let me know.

As far as the rest of it aside from the slightly sagging area... I think it is great. It looks almost the same as stock, except there are the side wings and a nice lower spoiler lip that has REAL downforcing properties. It is definitely NOT just a piece for looks, there is some aerodynamic functionality behind it.

Only thing you might want to consider is that it is quite a bit heavier than the stock cover. I'd say about 10-15lbs heavier. Just FYI.

What kit did you order and where did you get it? There are 4 and 9 pc. kits, two for just the MP3 and two for the regular protege.

I only got the front bumper replacement. I believe VIS is selling it now that WW is out of business.

Actually WW was for sale for quite a long time and recently purchased by VIS. This is what I've heard from numerous sources, I would imagine it to be correct information. But it's not first hand info I have from either of the companies.

The reason for this is probably because WW could no longer compete with the mass produced cheap overseas-made low quality knockoff parts.... It's sad when this happens, it's sad that people refuse to buy quality anymore. Wings West was a good company who had a good rapport with the aftermarket sport compact scene.

Sorry, offtopic there...

The big reason that they sold the business is because most (if not all) of their molds got stolen from the mexico plant. They didn't have any back ups and so it was either start from scratch on making all new molds for their products or just sell the place.

This is just what I have heard though... from a reputable source that would know what's up.

I couldn't find the bumper on the VIS website. Anybody know where to get one? Also, does anyone know if the mintblue is a full front bumper replacement?

The mintblue is NOT a full replacement. L8R even said a few posts ago that it is like a 3/4 lip type deal.;) I will do some digging after dinner and see if I can find a WW for you.

All I can find is this four-piece kit (on multiple websites). If it fits the MP3 it should fit the MSP right?
